Pain Relief. Love and Intimacy. Happiness
This client came to me because she was unhappy in her marriage and because she had started a spiritual path. She also experienced debilitating back pain but did not think it was fixable. She had tried everything and was resigned to the ongoing mystery of the pain. Our work was to focus on her happiness, not as a container for physical healing.
Over the course of our efforts together, she had a number of realizations. She got honest with herself and acknowledged that the marriage was over. She also opened up about her interest in women and started dating. As she started to feel the freedom of this new life, her back started to improve. The back pain was a physical manifestation of how trapped she felt in the marriage. These were all experiences she felt in her body during our sessions, that gave her the inherent knowing and confidence to start making more authentic choices for herself.
